Tom Borton focuses his practice on defending physicians, hospitals, and other professionals in litigation. Tom also represents corporate clients in commercial litigation and other legal matters. He has been involved in defending clients throughout the State of Illinois in both federal and state courts and has been involved in representing clients in litigation throughout the United States.

Tom received his undergraduate degree from Illinois Wesleyan University and his law degree from Washington University School of Law (St. Louis), where he was an Articles Editor of the Washington University Law Quarterly. Tom began his legal career at Bryan Cave (n/k/a Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner) in St. Louis. He also was a partner of Livingston, Barger Brandt & Schroeder (Champaign) before joining Laghenry, Gillen, Lundquist & Johnson.

Tom is admitted to practice in the States of Illinois and Missouri. He is admitted to practice before all the federal district courts in Illinois as well as the Eastern District of Missouri (St. Louis).
