Michael has been a Trial Lawyer since 1984. He has extensive litigation and trial experience defending professional negligence claims against hospitals, physicians, long term care facilities, mental health professionals, physical therapists, and nurses. Michael has further defended cases involving Civil Rights, Habeas Corpus claims, premises liability, and general personal injury. He also represents professionals defending licensing matters before the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation at all levels from Informal Conference to Trial.

In addition to over 40 years of experience as a Trial Lawyer, Michael has represented clients in appeals before the Appellate Court of Illinois, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States, including oral arguments before the Appellate Court of Illinois – First District, Appellate Court of Illinois – Second District, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
